We are a family-run cattle ranch in the vast foothills of the Rocky Mountains. A lifelong love for pristine northern wilderness and wildlife led us, Kevin and Lise O’Reilly, to settle at Mount Carmel Ranch. Our three adult sons, Philip, Nathan and Augustine, also appreciated the lush landscape and abundant wildlife of the area, and joined us in our dream of using this land to produce top-quality beef for our family and for many others. Our two daughters, Teresa and Lucy and their families, also love the ranch and come visit often.

Mount Carmel Ranch provides all that we need — purity of the air, water and soil is assured by its being remarkably isolated. Its rich, fertile soil and plentiful rain allows nutritious and abundant grasses to grow, and we continue to improve them using regenerative agriculture. During the summer months, we pack the best of our grass into barns, so the cows can continue eating it all winter. The beef we produce comes from cattle who have lived an easy, stress-free life which is hard to provide in modern beef production. 

Our dear friends, Mac and Renata Nowakowski, visited our ranch and were inspired by its pristine beauty and our endeavour. They soon became the proud owners of a portion of our herd, which we maintain for them. In the Lower Mainland, where they reside, Mac and Renata play an essential role promoting our beef sales among their many friends and business associates.
